"Z-Character"

Most of the 3.4/Austria/2 and 3.9/Austria/2 Jiminy's have a number on the middle brick of the Z-diagonal.  Because I have seen the identical etching on more than one dispenser, I believe that this was a mark used to identify the mold.  I have seen 1,2,3,4,5,and 7 on Jiminy and wouldn't be surprised to find 6 and 8 some day.
