Patent/Country

Jiminy was made under 4 patents (2,620,061, 3,410,455, 3,845,882, and 3,942,683) and in 4 countries (Austria, Mexico, USA, and Yugoslavia).  The Mexican stems don’t have a patent #.  So far, the patent/country/IMC combinations that I know of are 2.6/Austria/2, 2.6/Yugoslavia/V, 3.4/no country/5, 3.4/Austria/2, 3.8/USA/9, 3.9/Austria/2, and no patent/Mexico/no IMC.

For a great discussion of the differences between patents, see (Yahoo! Groups : PEZheads Messages (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PEZheads/message/26115).

I have found some Jiminy's that have the patent / country / IMC on the wrong side (Jiminy's left).  I asked Dave Welch if this was common.  He told me that stems are easily switched so collectors don't seem to care.

3.4 none

I assume this is Yugoslavia since the IMC is “5”.

Mexican Jiminy stems don’t list a patent # or IMC.
